Donating “gently” used book to build a library in Kenya

This year for Readathon at Richmond Friends School, we want to share our love of reading with children in Africa. Richmond resident, and Kenyan native, Judi Haitch is starting a project to build a library for children living in poverty in Luanda, Kenya. Please consider donating lightly used books to the Bethany Academy in Kenya. The children range in age from 6 months to 10 years old, so all kinds of children’s books are welcome, especially colorful board books.

Bring books to Richmond Friends School at 607 West Main Street, Richmond, Indiana.
